Drybridge House is a beautifully preserved 17th century country house that is licensed for wedding ceremonies or civil partnerships.  We can cater for a small, intimate service or a much larger celebration.  The Grade II* listed building has a magnificent interior with many of the rooms being wood panelled and still containing a number of the original features.  This historic house and gardens offer the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos and are an ideal setting for a memorable day for you and your guests.


Your Wedding Day

Drybridge House can be your stately home for the day.  We offer the flexibility so you can tailor make the venue to suit your plans for your day – from decorations, themes, catering and drinks. Enjoy YOUR day exactly the way YOU want to!! And yes, we do allow confetti!

Personal Service

The Drybridge House team provide a personal and flexible service offering all the support needed for your special occasion. We consider this of the highest importance and we are here to help make your day successful and enjoyable. You will also have the support of a wedding coordinator and caretakers on your day.

Outstanding Value

Our prices include the use of several different rooms (including furniture) throughout your day, plus access to a fully licensed bar, kitchen and gardens.  Access to the venue from 6.30pm Friday evening (depending on availability) – midnight Saturday.  The rooms are set up to suit your requirements.


This flexibility extends to our catering arrangements. We have an excellent in-house team who will cater for your meeting or wedding party.

Perfect Backdrop

Convenient Location

Drybridge House, Monmouth, is easily accessible from South Wales, the South West and the Midlands, just minutes from the A40 dual carriageway which links to the M50 and M4. It is also within easy walking distance of the historic town of Monmouth.
